On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Commonwealth of Australia, two historic buildings of Canberra, the National Carillon and Old Parliament House, were illuminated in the flag colours of Mongolia in the evening of 15 September 2022.
Our two countries established diplomatic relations officially on 15 September 1972. At present, we are enjoying broad and active cooperation in many fields including politics, defence, education, mining, and agriculture.
