“Mongolia Update” conference organized by the Mongolia Institute at the Australian National University was held in Canberra on 26-27 November 2019. Held under the theme “Cultural Heritage and the Economy”, this year’s conference featured not only scholars based in Australia but also guest speakers from Mongolia and Inner Mongolia.
More than 100 people including students and professors of the Australian National University, representatives of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Agriculture as well as Mongolians residing in Australia attended the conference. Also, participants and visitors enjoyed the Mongolian ger, cultural performances and photo exhibition displaying Mongolian nature and way of life.
