“Mongolia-Australia Diplomatic Relations 50” conference held in Ulaanbaatar

The Embassy of Mongolia in Australia in collaboration with the Mongolia Institute at the Australian National University, School of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia organized the “Mongolia Update: Mongolia-Australia Diplomatic Relations 50“ conference in Ulaanbaatar on 12 August 2022. The conference was held within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and Mr Tsogtbaatar Damdin, Member of Parliament of Mongolia and President of the Mongolia-Australia Society, was featured as a keynote speaker. Also, Ambassador Davaasuren Damdinsuren, Ambassador Katie Smith, director of the Mongolia Institute Natasha Fijn, deputy director Professor Li Narangoa, dean of the School of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia Professor Battogtokh Javzandolgor, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in New South Wales Brian Thornton as well as representatives and  scholars of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Australian National University, National University of Mongolia, University of the Humanities, Institute of International Studies participated in the conference. Presenters and participants discussed and shared views on Mongolia-Australia relationship, cooperation in the education, trade and investment sectors, Mongolian studies in Australia and many other intriguing topics.
