Ambassador Chuluunhuu Batlai presented a Certificate of Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to John Langtry on 30 June 2020.
Cultural Envoys are responsible for promoting Mongolian history, art and culture abroad, contributing in broadening bilateral cooperation in science, sport and humanitarian fields as well as supporting ties and communications between individuals and businesses of the two countries.
John Langtry served as Australia’s first resident Ambassador to Mongolia from December 2015 to January 2019. During his tenure as Ambassador, John Langtry has contributed in deepening and developing bilateral relations in all areas of cooperation and strengthening people-to-people links.
